Carlos Alcaraz With Triumphant Season Debut

Current number two on the ATP rankings, Carlos Alcaraz, made his season debut in Buenos Aires and started off with a victory over Laslo Djere from Serbia in three sets – 6:2, 4:6, and 6:2.

Carlos looked in pretty good shape at the start of the game and late as he switched gears. Ultimately he won the game and started off this season with a victory. “It’s a great feeling to win again,” he said post-match.

“It’s been a long time for me with no competition, with no matches, just recovering. Finally, I got my first win in 2024,” he added.
