Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic tied Rafael Nadal’s record of 22 grand slam titles on Sunday by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece at the Australian Open. This was Novak’s tenth, record-breaking title in Melbourne.
He received congratulations messages on his social media throughout the day from various public figures across the globe, and some of the more notable ones came from Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Nadal posted on his Instagram, saying, “Amazing achievement Nole. Many congrats to you and your team! Well deserved. Enjoy Nole”
Federer also sounded off on Serb’s success, “Incredible effort, again. Many congratulations,” he wrote.
