Tennis legend and grand slam champion John McEnroe believes that there is much more in store for Novak Djokovic and that he will win at least three more grand slam titles before his career comes to an end.
Novak won his tenth Australian Open on Sunday, and John McEnroe had some comments on this incredible achievement.
“I don’t know how many more he will win, but it is difficult to imagine that he will not win at least two or three more. Roger Federer won three after he turned 35, and Rafa did too. Novak is athletically better than both of them. He didn’t have many injuries, so I can easily see him winning at least three more trophies,” he stated.
He also added: “Novak is incredibly resilient and a master of self-motivation. He finds ways to maintain his hunger for trophies and does everything he can to get better. It requires a lot of devotion. This is why Roger, Novak, and Rafa are who and where they are. They are hungrier for titles than the rest of the players.”
