Norrie Powers Through to the Quarterfinals in Rio

Cameron Norrie managed to advance to the quarterfinals at Rio Open. He had a difficult task as he faced one of the home crowd favorites, Thiago Monteiro, but he managed to beat him in straight sets, 7:5 and 7:5.

Norrie quickly gained the advantage of 2:0. However, Monteiro proved to be quite a resilient opponent, and he came back to tie the result at 3:3. The winner was determined in the eleventh game when Norrie converted the second break point.

We saw a similar scenario and a lot of intense points for the rest of the match, but ultimately, Norrie was victorious, and he will face Hugo Dellien from Bolivia in the quarterfinal match.
