Tsitsipas - Djokovic Inspires Me, and He Is My Role Model

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas recently spoke about Novak Djokovic, his work ethic, and exemplary behavior on and off the court. He and Nole recently faced in the finals of the Australian Open, after which Serb won his tenth AO title and 22nd career grand slam title.

“In the last couple of years, we thought that Djokovic reached the highest level in tennis, but with each upcoming year, he shows that he is getting better than he was before. It inspires me, and he is my role model,” Tsitsipas said.

Stefanos also revealed that he believes that his biggest flaw in tennis is that he thinks he can go far in each tournament he plays.

“Overconfidence doesn’t lead anywhere. Of course, confidence is necessary to play well, but when you overdo it, it can be very dangerous. It is necessary to stay grounded, work hard, and add moves to your arsenal. I know how much I’m capable of, and I’ve already proven that” he added.
