The new director of the ATP Masters 1000, Monte Carlo, announced that both Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will participate in the tournament that kicks off on April 8th and lasts until April 16th.
Novak Djokovic started this season fantastically by winning the tournament in Adelaide and Australian Open, while Nadal’s year kicked off with struggles and injuries that will keep him off the court for a while.
By attending the tournament in Monte Carlo, Djokovic will complete his participation at all tournaments held on clay, after he confirmed he would play at the Masters in Rome and Madrid, the tournament in Banja Luka, and the biggest event on clay – French Open.
