Rafael Nadal Goes 0-2 in Turin

Rafael Nadal lost his second match at the Nitto ATP Finals tournament, and right now, the only thing that keeps him alive in the tournament is Taylor Fritz’s win over Casper Ruud.

Spaniard lost the game versus Felix Auger-Alliasime in two sets – 6:3 and 6:4. After the match was over, Nadal spoke at the press conference and had the following to say: “I fought until the end, these two months were catastrophic on a mental level, but not on tennis level.”

He also added: “My body, the year behind me, and my personal situation are not allowing me to fight at the higher level at this moment. I am sad and disappointed, but starting tomorrow, I’m starting preparations for the next season.”
