A Greek tennis player recently stated that he is always trying to look at the bigger picture. He didn’t want to analyze his match against Djokovic any deeper, which he lost in two sets – 6:4 and 7:6.
“I don’t have any comment. I need to focus on the upcoming matches and try to forget about this one,” he stated. Had he managed to win all five matches in Turin, Tsitsipas would rank up to the top seed on the ATP list.
On this topic, he had to say the following: “It is something that doesn’t occupy my thoughts, but I’m convinced I’ll be top seed one day. I don’t want to rush anything, to be honest. Of course, it would’ve been great if it happened this week, but I’m looking at all of this as a marathon, not a sprint.”
Stefanos Tsitsipas will play his next match at the Nitto ATP Finals against Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.
