Humbert Ugo Leaves the Court After a Nasty Fall

French professional tennis player Ugo Humbert had a pretty dangerous fall in the first round at Open Sud De France in Montpellier.

The Frenchman won the first set against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in a rather convincing manner – 6:1, but in the second set’s tiebreak, the fall happened.

He chased for the ball, and then he lost his balance and fell directly on his leg, after which he received help from the medical staff. He bravely tried to continue the match, but after he lost the set, he had to withdraw.

After the match, Fokina talked to the press. “I have known Ugo since we were kids. It is not easy to see a friend in such a condition,” he said. For now, it has not yet been revealed how much time Humbert will need to recover.
