Nadal About Injury-Riddled Season

Rafael Nadal hopes that he will be competitive in the upcoming Australian Open grand slam tournament. Spaniard won his second title in Melbourne last year after he returned to the court after a long absence.

He had many injury issues with his foot and was medicated when he won the French Open. After this tournament, he went for special treatment, which was supposed to help him with this issue.

“Season had several phases and was marked with my physical problems. Everything changed when we found an efficient treatment for my foot, which helped me a lot. It radically changed my perspective,” Nadal stated.

Nowadays, he is focused on getting better, and he is focused on the start of the 2024 season: “I’m traveling to Australia in three weeks. I want to work hard and give my best to feel competitive there,” Rafa added.
