In the match in the round of sixteen at the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam, Jannik Sinner defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets – 6:4 and 6:3.
With this win, Sinner got revenge on the Greek player for the defeat at the Australia Open in five sets. By fighting through this win, Sinner made Tsitsipas’s road to number one on the ATP list much more difficult.
Unlike in the match in Melbourne, Sinner was absolutely dominant from the first until the last point of the game and deservingly eliminated Tsitsipas from the tournament. Jannik will play the quarterfinal match against veteran Stan Wawrinka.
