Tsitsipas was notably more decisive and aggressive, with a clearly defined game plan and a clear desire to deny initiative to his opponents recently. He managed to win the title at the exhibition tournament in Dubai.
“I understand that this is an exhibition, but all the same, this triumph is a big step forward. I would like to transfer this type of game to the ATP tournament,” said the current number four on the ATP list.
Tsitsipas defeated Cameron Norrie, Casper Ruud, and Andrey Rublev in Dubai, and the only set he lost throughout the whole tournament was in the finals against the Russian.
Unlike in the tournaments at the end of the season, Tsitsipas looked much more confident and focused, which eventually resulted in him winning this exhibition tournament.
